CHAOS-AI is built on a local-first architecture. Your source code, context databases, session history, and agent state remain on your machine by default. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the web platform and account services.
Account data: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. If you sign in via a third-party provider (GitHub, Google), we receive the profile information they share.
Usage analytics: We collect anonymous, aggregated usage metrics (feature adoption, error rates) to improve the product. No source code or prompt content is included.
Payment data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We use collected data to: operate and maintain your account; process payments and manage subscriptions; send transactional emails (confirmation, password reset); and improve the Service based on aggregated usage patterns.
The CLI tool stores all data locally on your machine. The web platform uses Supabase for account authentication and metadata storage. Your source code is never uploaded to our servers. API keys and provider credentials remain in your local environment and are never transmitted.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (authentication, database); Stripe (payment processing); Resend (transactional email). Each operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may delete your account through the account settings page or by emailing us directly. Upon account deletion, all associated personal data is permanently removed.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
